This program targets preschool age children only. Activities include stories, marching with instruments, crafts and the occasional special guest. No sign ups are required. The library is not open for regular library services at this time, only for the storyhour. You may check out books for your little ones during the storyhour, though we do advise getting your library card ahead of time, during regular open hours, as we have limited staff during the storyhour.
Preschool storyhour runs from September through May.
Red Bluff Storytime – Wednesdays starting at 9:30am (except holidays)
Corning Storytime – Mondays starting at 10:00am (except holidays)
Summer Reading Program
Every summer, the library presents a summer program for kids that runs from June to August. Each year is a different theme and includes stories, contests, theme-based learning activities & special guests. Prizes, certificates & ribbons are awarded. A party is held on the last program day, complete with book swaps, more activities & edible treats!
Funding for many of our Children’s Programs is brought to you by Tehama County Friends of the Library and United Way of Northern California
